By following traditions, we learn to value family, elders and social harmony. Patriotism is love for one’s country expressed through responsible conduct and everyday actions. It includes obeying rules, respecting national symbols, helping others and working honestly for progress. True patriotism begins with even minor duties done sincerely every day. Thoughtful living teaches us to think before we speak or act. It shapes us into kinder, more mindful, more understanding individuals.
