The Third Intra School Moot Court Session – A Reflection Of Intellect, wit and Knowledge’ was well organised and conducted by the Student Fraternity with an objective to enhance Legal analytical and researching skills of the students. It not only motivated the emerging lawyers to express themselves freely but also to think deeply and have a better understanding of the subject. In all 8 teams (comprising of 16 students) had participated with full enthusiasm and zeal. All teams demonstrated the art of persuasive advocacy, legal research and analytical skills.
Keeping up with the tradition of providing holistic development to the students S.P.S.E.C conducted the “1st Inter School Moot Court” – A Legal Aptitude based competition in the school campus,to explore and build an understanding of legal diversity through participation in legal court proceedings and to motivate and aware the students about enormous opportunities existing in legal service sector and how they can benefit the most from it.
This competition gave the participants a virtual set-up of the inside of a courtroom, where the students dressed in councilor’s attire engaged in war of words on the real cases of fundamental rights. This competition gave students a platform to showcase their talents in both research work, case study and tactical verbal assaults based of statistical evidences on their competitors and win their argument. This activity not only gave the opportunity to showcase their understanding but also triggered interest in law in many others and how closely connected the legal concepts are to our daily lives.
SPSEC is the first school to conduct such activity at inter school level to impart a practical knowledge of legal studies.
