The great visionary and philanthropist Shri Govind Hari Singhania was born in the industrial city of Kanpur on March 19, 1937. His father Late Sir Padampat Singhania had a highly zealous and enterprising personality. His mother Late Smt. Anusuiya Devi Singhania was a strong and pious lady. He graduated from Christ Church College, Kanpur (Agra University) and later studied Business Management. He married Manorama Ji on February 15, 1955. He is blessed with four daughters and one son.
