Pool C – ARNAV MISHRA / Class 9 A

A new year has often reminded me of a new notebook, with clean pages ready to tell new stories. This time too, I want to begin my new year with awareness, the ability to care and the power to act differently. Awareness, for me, means understanding myself and the world around me. I want to recognise my habits, my mistakes and my strengths. Rather than ignoring my problems, I want to face them and learn from them.

Care is another area I want to focus on at the beginning of this year. I want to show greater concern for my family, friends and teachers who support me every day. I also want to prioritise my health by following a balanced diet, exercising regularly and reducing my screen time. Caring for nature is equally important. Consistent efforts to conserve water, plant trees, and reduce plastic use can bring about lasting change.

The change I want to bring is to act differently rather than complain. If I face failure, I will not be discouraged easily. The qualities I want to develop in myself include confidence, kindness and responsibility. This new year, I promise myself to grow into a better version of myself, aware of my choices, caring in my actions and brave enough to make positive changes.
