Pool B – Kavya Agarwal / Class 6
This summer vacation, I decided to take up a unique challenge: whenever I felt like watching one more reel on my phone, I would spend that time learning a new skill instead. At first, it was difficult because scrolling through reels had become a habit. However, I stayed determined and used my free time wisely.
I started learning basic sketching and improved my handwriting. I also watched educational videos to learn a few cooking recipes and some useful computer shortcuts.
Gradually, I realized that learning something new was much more satisfying than spending hours on social media. Each day, I felt more confident and productive. By the end of the vacation, I had gained valuable skills and reduced my screen time.
This challenge taught me the importance of self-discipline and making better use of my time. It was a rewarding experience that I would like to continue.
