India is certainly playing a leading role in the post-COVID global recovery process. India’s active response was commendable during this period. On one hand, it was successful in providing vaccines to the maximum number of people( around 1 billion doses of vaccines are administered ) while on the other hand, it helped the world by supplying vaccines and medical equipment to more than 150 countries of the world.To compensate for the losses, Under the ‘ Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package’ free food grain was supplied to 80 crore people, free cooking gas to 8 crore families, and direct cash was transferred to over 40 crore farmers, women, the elderly, the poor and the needy. India will address five sectors of its economy – energy, mobility, industry, infrastructure, cities and agriculture to reduce greenhouse gas emissions under the ambitious Panchamrit pledge by Shri Narendra Modi. Due to India’s efforts towards digital empowerment, many poor unbanked families have access to basic financial services now. The recently launched Indian Space  Association, Atmanirbhar Bharat Mission, National Monetization Plan,  National Hydrogen Mission etc are some of the crucial steps taken by the Indian Government to take its rightful position in the new world order emerging in the post-COVID world.On the global platform, India is working on the ideology of ‘Vasudeva Kutumbakam’ – the world is one family, which is the need of the hour. While we are celebrating 75 years of Indian Independence, we are also strengthening our power as a global leader in the World Economy.
