I Look Beyond The Celebration To Discover What It Means To Truly Live In Freedom.
?Freedom is more than a national celebration, a flag, or a day filled with speeches and patriotic songs. When I look beyond the celebration, I realise that true freedom is the ability to live with dignity, make responsible choices, express our thoughts, and respect others’ rights. It means being free from fear, discrimination, ignorance, and injustice.
To truly live in freedom, we must also understand our duties. Freedom does not mean doing whatever we want; it means using our rights wisely without harming others. Education gives us the freedom to think, equality gives everyone the freedom to grow, and kindness creates a society where people feel safe and valued.
Real freedom begins within us when we overcome prejudice, fear, and selfishness. Therefore, the best way to celebrate freedom is not only through ceremonies, but by building a responsible, fair, peaceful, and compassionate society for everyone.
